Eric came up this weekend from D.C. and we had some fun. I don't have pictures of anything, sadly, so I'll just make a short, incomplete list.
-Saw some sort of festival in chinatown.
-Ate Peking duck.
-Drank birch beer, which is like root beer.
-Ate a cheesesteak, with Whiz, of course.
-Various general fun things.

I thought proper pronunciation was "wit'" Whiz. Did you go to Pat's or Geno's, or some low-rate place?
Hey! call me or email me. i tried to email you but i dont think you got it. my life has changed profoundly, son.
We went to some college pub because it was close enough to walk. My only complaint would be that the whiz did not really permeate the meat, so some of it was cheese-less meat on bread. I'll have to try somewhere good at a later point.
It may just be me, but whenever there is talk of whiz permeating anything, it's not a pleasant development, especially in regards to food. The image in my mind is a much-peed-upon sofa or carpet.
Yeah, we should try out DiNici's at the Reading Market and get a pork sandwich then maybe check out Tony Luke's and get a real steak.
I'll be back up soon enough.
